The 'Urban e-Planning' Conference, promoted by the 'International Journal of E-Planning Research' (IJEPR), in collaboration with the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning, University of Lisbon, is an annual forum for the discussion of recent research developments in the field of urban e-planning. The previous four conferences were held in 2016, 2017, 2018, and in 2019, at the University of Lisbon, with participants from more than 20 countries.
The 5th Conference, first scheduled for April 2020 had to be postponed to 2021, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
The Conference will be held fully virtual / online from 7 to 10 September 2021.
Papers accepted for the postponed 2020 edition continue valid for 2021.
New papers / abstracts can be submitted until 20 June 2021 (see conference website for conditions and deadlines).
The Conference is organized into 3 tracks (themes):
Track 1: Governance and Planning of Smart Cities
Track 2: Citizens e-Participation in Urban Planning
Track 3: Covid-19 Pandemic: City and Urban e-Planning
Participation is free of charge.
Participation requires the presentation of a paper.
It is expected the publication in the 'International Journal of E-Planning Research' (IJEPR), in open access, free of charge for the author, of a selection of the papers presented. See information on the conference website.
